People on Glass

Photographing on glass means every step takes quite a bit of time. When making portraits exposure times are also quite long. They may vary from 10 up to 30 seconds.
This duration makes the perception of time, for the one before as well as behind the camera, much more intense, as opposed to the mere push of a button.
The long exposure makes it seem as if you’re able to photograph a part of the inner self of the one portrayed.
A part that can’t be seen when the exposure is done in a split of a second.
